Get the extension and find out who’s targeting you

Screenshot of WhoTargets.Me plugin

Whotargets.me helps you understand how political parties are targeting you and your vote advertising on Facebook in the run up to the UK General Election on June 8th.

We’ve built a free Chrome browser extension that tracks the political ads in your Facebook feed then gives you personalised statistics about them.

To use it:

  1. Visit the Google Chrome web store and click ‘Add to Chrome’ to install the extension in your browser
  2. Use Facebook as normal
  3. Click the extension icon in the top-right of your browser toolbar to see your personalised statistics

Only Chrome users can get the extension at the moment (Firefox coming soon). If you’re reading this in another browser, or on your mobile phone, you’ll need to take screenshots of the ads you see and upload them using our form.

Click here and bookmark the form.

Write about us

Help spread the word by writing a nice post about us.¬†Once we’ve accumulated a significant amount of data there are going to be some really cool stories coming out of this – but to make that happen we need media partners to help spread the word and get the extension installed in as many constituencies as possible!

If you have an audience and are passionate about making #GE2017 as fair as possible please get in touch and we’ll be more than happy to provide you with further details about the project.
